Data Deletion Request

This page explains how to request deletion of your Local Profiles account or personal data.

How to request deletion

Email hello@localprofiles.co.uk with the subject line “Data deletion request”.

Please include:

  • The name and email address associated with your enquiry or account
  • Your business name (if relevant)
  • Whether you want account deletion, deletion of enquiry/contact records, and/or deletion of Google-connected data stored by Local Profiles

We aim to process requests as soon as reasonably practicable and normally within 30 days.

What we will normally delete

Depending on your request and what we hold, we will normally delete or anonymise:

  • Contact form enquiry records and related correspondence where no longer needed
  • Account profile details you asked us to remove
  • Stored Google connection tokens and related Google-connected records that are no longer required after disconnect/deletion

What may need to be retained

Some information may need to be retained for a limited period where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security or dispute-resolution reasons. Where retention is required, we keep only what is necessary and for no longer than needed.

Revoking Google access independently

You can revoke Local Profiles’ access to your Google Account at any time, without waiting for a deletion request, through Google’s third-party access page:

After you revoke access, Local Profiles cannot retrieve new Google data for that connection. You may still email us if you also want related stored data deleted.
